RESCUE researchers at EGU 2024
By Andria Nicodemou
Project partners participate at the 2024 edition of the annual EGU General Assembly.
The European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly is an annual meeting that brings together researchers from around the world to present and discuss their work on different disciplines of Earth, planetary and space sciences.
Researchers from the RESCUE project will participate at the EGU 2024 meeting, which takes place between 14 and 19 April 2024 in Vienna, Austria and online, presenting their research on carbon dioxide removal and relevant topics.
Some of the sessions where RESCUE scientists are presenting work conducted in the project include the following:
Crosscutting activities in land surface modeling: bridging the gap in modeling coupled climate and hydrological processes and the ecosystems modulation
Speakers: Julia Pongratz and Shraddha Gupta, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München; David Wårlind, Lund University
When: Wednesday 17 April at 19:00-20:00 CEST, Room G1
Seasonal and interannual inorganic carbon dynamics in the Northeast Pacific
Presenter: Ana C. Franco, Barcelona Supercomputing Center
When: Thursday 18 April at 08:35-08:45 CEST, Room 1.61/62 (oral presentation)
Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement efficiency in the North Pacific under influence of the Pacific Decadal Oscillation
Presenter: Andrea van Langen Rosón, Barcelona Supercomputing Center
When: Friday 19 April at 17:25-17:35 CEST, Room 1.61/62 (oral presentation)
